The Airbus A321LR serves European and Middle Eastern routes with a premium recliner seat in a 2-2 configuration offering generous pitch but no lie-flat capability. The 767 provides the best business class experience, while the A321LR is comfortable for flights under seven hours.

Air Astana serves Kazakh and international cuisine, featuring dishes such as beshbarmak, manty dumplings, and Central Asian-style grilled lamb alongside European multi-course options. Kumis and traditional Kazakh tea with milk are offered as cultural beverages alongside international wines and spirits. Meals are well-presented with attention to detail. Service is professional and notably warm for the region, with cabin crew delivering an experience that regularly exceeds expectations for a Central Asian carrier.

Lounge experience

Air Astana operates business lounges at Almaty and Astana airports, offering Kazakh and international hot dishes, a bar with local and imported spirits, and comfortable seating. The Almaty lounge includes shower facilities and a prayer room. At outstations, passengers access partner or contract lounges.
